Power Definitions

Prime Power

In corporate to the prime rated power (PRP) of GB/T 2820 and ISO 8528, and refers to the maximum power available at the variable load series, without time limits in one year's running hours up to 250h and for every 12h running hours, it can be 10% overloaded for 1h for maintenance; overload power operation shall not be more than 25h in one year; the average output power within 24 h shall not be higher than 70% of the prime power.

Standby Power

In corporate to the standby power (ESP) of GB/T 2820 and ISO 8528, and refers to the maximum power available at a certain variable load series in the event of a utility power outage or under test conditions for an annual running hours up to 200h, of which the maximum running time shall be 50h per year. No overload is permitted by Yuchai. The allowed average output power within 24 h shall not be higher than 70% of the standby power.
